Doggone Friendly

This is one large stamp called Doggone Friendly (item # 162729) that covers the whole front of one 5.5x4.25 card. I'm trying to decide how to use this one.  Do I fussy-cut the individual images to use in separate projects or leave it as one?  I really love to color and had fun with the different shades.
I love the Pug at the top left and the brindled Boxer at the lower right.

Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper

I haven't had enough time to play with this paper yet, but I love all the shades of blue in it.  It's great with layering mats of different blue cardstock colors.

Lighter Than Air

Playing with the hot air balloon suite again from the Mini Catalog.  I love all the intricate pieces, the clouds, and the super festive DSP.  The slimline card is great for these balloons....don't you think?

It's Lemon Season

I still love this Sweet Citrus bundle, shown here using Crushed Curry, Lemon Lolly and Daffodil Delight cardstock. The Designer Series Paper is the current In Color 6x6.

Crafting With You

This is a fun bundle to work with.  It's called Crafting With You.  I love the little spools of thread, the scissors, and the buttons.  The Basics 3D star embossing folder gives the card that extra depth and dimension that would be perfect on a quilt. The Xs and stars are punched from the Ink and Tiled punch pack.

More Inked Botanicals

This is a fun way to make something that looks complicated when it's really very simple.

I started with a piece of DSP cut to 5" x 3 3/4", then placed the sentiment in the center.
Cut four strips whatever width you like. I think narrower strips look better.  These are a little on the wider side.
Place the strips one at a time around the sentiment (they will overhang your DSP), and then trim the overhang flush with the DSP.
Finally, place the DSP onto a cardstock mat, then place that onto the card.

For this card I used:

Inked Botanicals DSP
Stylish Shapes dies
Crafting with You sentiment
In Color Dots
Calypso Coral/VV cardstock
Crushed Curry, Pretty Peacock, and Calypso Coral ink

Inked Botanicals

This is a fun and simple way to use up leftover strips of DSP.  Each strip is cut to
3/4 " x 3 7/8" and layered on a mat cut to 5 3/8" x 4 1/8", then placed on a regular card base of 5 1/2 x 4 1/4".

Products used to make this card:

Inked Botanicals DSP
Crushed Curry and Very Vanilla cardstock Pretty Peacock/Calypso Coral inks Stitched Shapes dies Color and Contour stamps Brushed Brass Butterflies Ribbon Duo

Sweet Citrus - Three-step Funfold Card

Today’s project is a card that I made for a monochromatic challenge using the colore orange (my personal favorite), and I also wanted to try this three-step funfold card that somebody had shared last week.
The products used here include: Inked Botanicals DSP (love this Designer Series Paper!)
Sweet Citrus bundle
Basics 3D EFs
Calypso Coral and Very Vanilla cardstock
Calypso Coral and Pumpkin Pie ink
Ombré Matte Dots

Using Up Those Bits and Pieces to Make Beautiful Quilt Cards

Really, the embossing folders make these
"quilts" come to life by giving them added depth and texture.

For the Flying Geese quilt card, I used the following Stampin' Up! products:
Crafting with You bundle
Radiating Stitches dies
Basics 3D embossing folder
Bright & Beautiful designer series paper (DSP)
White center specialty paper
Berry Burst and Misty Moonlight ink
Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Basic White and Berry Burst Cardstock
Holographic Specialty Paper (for the scissors)

For the Pinwheel quilt card, I used the following Stampin' Up! products:
Crafting with You Bundle
Radiating Stitches dies
Basics 3D embossing folder
Stargazing DSP
In Color Textured Specialty Paper
Holographic Specialty Paper
Basic Black, Basic White and Crumb Cake Cardstock
Calypso Coral ink

The Pinwheel quilt squares use two 3 x 3/4" strips of DSP (one in each color), and two 3 x 3/4" strips of white cardstock. This is a great way to use up smaller pieces of leftover DSP.

The Flying Geese quilt squares use two 3 x 3/4" strips of DSP for the small triangles, and two
6 x 3/4" strips for the larger triangles.

All About Autumn

This has been a fun suite to play with during the month of September, as we get ready for Fall.
And I am so ready for Fall and the cooler weather it brings.

Little 3x3 note cards CASEd right from the catalog.

This cute treat holder is so simple to make up.
I was surprised that it actually holds a whole bag of mini Dove Bars.

Stamping the background to make my own DSP

This little piece of DSP with the leaves was my favorite from the 6x6 pack.

Popup gatefold with belly band (to keep it from sproinging open).
This "couch" paper was a challenge for me (where/how to use it).

This Designer Series Paper really does all the work here.  So pretty!

Great way to use up the smaller leftover pieces of DSP.

Gift card holder

I hope you've enjoyed some of my All About Autumn projects.  If you have any questions, let me know.  Everything is from the current Annual Catalog.
