Simply Zinnia Slimline Card

I'm really loving this Zinnia set. There's no limit to the colors you can use.
This is an Online Exclusive, and you won't find it in the catalog. (Item number 163480)

For this slimline card, I used:

Simply Zinnia Bundle
Distressed Tile Embossing Folder
Bough Punch
Berry Burst ink
Tinsel Gems
Cardstock: Garden Green, Berry Burst, Lemon Lolly, Peach Pie, Flirty Flamingo, Basic White

For the card base, I cut a piece of Basic White to 8 3/4" x 7 1/2" and scored on the 7 1/2 side at 3 3/4"
The bottom mat is cut to 8" x 3"
The top mat is cut to 7 7/8 x 2 7/8, then it is run through the Big Shot using your favorite embossing folder.
Cut your favorite flowers and arrange to your liking.
Enjoy!

Window card using the "To Market" suite

I was playing with the vegetables and wanted to try something a little different.  At first I wanted to make a shaker card, but the vegetables (being paper) don't want to move around like confetti pieces would.
So I stamped some background images, then cut some and propped them up with dimensionals to give them a layered look in the market bag.  It's hard to see the window on the cards, but it's there.

Card Box using Flowering Zinnias Suite Collection

Every year we grow as many zinnias as we have space for.
When I saw this Suite Collection, I had to have it!

Products used:
Flowering Zinnias Suite Collection (dies and DSP)
Cardstock:  Berry Burst, Peach Pie, Lemon Lolly and Basic White
Stamp Set: Seaside Wishes
Dies: Autumn Leaves and Unbounded Love
Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins

Pictured in the box below are 8 cards and 8 envelopes. Two of the cards are fun-folds, and I think this box would easily hold 10 regular cards that aren't thick with too many layers.

This box uses two pieces of cardstock.

The front piece is cut at 8.5" x 7"
Along the 8.5" side, score at 1/2", 2", 6.5" and 8"
Turn clockwise and score along the 7" side at 1/2" and 2"
Cut away the bottom flaps (as shown)

The back piece is 9.5" x 4.5"
Along the 9.5" side, score at 2.25" and 3.75"

DSP:
Cut 1 - 4.25 x 4.75" for front of box
Cut 1 - 4.25 x 5.25" for back (optional)
Cut 2 - 1.25 x 4.75" for sides
Cut 1 - 4.25 x 2" lid front
Cut 1 - 4.25 x 1.25" lid top

Playing with the New In Colors

I finally got to play with the new In Color products and the Online Exclusive Kit called "By Your Side."

For this colorful card, I used the 6x6 In Color Designer Series Paper and die cut 8 of the smallest squares in the Stylish Shapes die set.

I also cut one heart from the Radiating Stitches Die set.
Bottom mat - Summer Splash cardstock - cut to 5 1/4 x 4

Top mat (Basic White) - cut to 5 1/8 x 3 7/8

In Color Resin Dots

Heat-embossed the cat paws and the fish at the top with white embossing powder

The sentiment is stamped in Summer Splash ink.

After I adhered the squares to the Basic White mat and stamped and embossed it, I used the Distressed Tile Embossing Folder on just the top mat, then adhered it to the Summer Splash bottom mat.

The sentiment is from the Online Exclusive kit called By Your Side.

The inspiration for this layout came from Jacque Williams.

More fun with the "To Market" Suite

This bookfold card is a quick and easy layout...and cute too!

Here's how:

Pumpkin Pie cardstock - cut 4 1/4″ x 11″, folded and scored at 5 1/2″ and 6 3/4″, plus a scrap for the larger Stylish Shapes square die

- Basic White
– Cut Two 4″ x 4″ (one for inside too), and also cut 1″ x 4″, plus a scrap for the smaller Stylish Shapes square die

- To Market Designer Series Paper -
Cut 3 7/8″ x 3 7/8″, and also cut 7/8″ x 3 7/8″

- Peach Pie ink (for the sentiment from the Market Goodness stamps)

- Linen Thread

- Fussy-cut some flowers and a basket from the DSP, and die-cut some miniature flowers to use in place of dots or sequins

"To Market" Fun Fold

For these cute gift card holders, I used the "To Market" suite from the new annual catalog. (163433/$56/Pg. 39)

I love the "To Market" Designer Series Paper. I think the B sides are SO pretty!
(163421/$12/Pg. 39)
The "For You" sentiment is from the Market Goodness Bundle     (163429/$36/Pg. 39)
The larger green bow is from Wanted to Say die set     (161594/$39/Pg. 85)
Cardstock colors are Garden Green (102584/$11.50), Pumpkin Pie (105117), and Basic White (159276)
The inside sentiments are from the Saying Something Ephemera Pack (163761/$8/Pg. 19)
The round tags are from the Unbounded Love die set (163383/$36/Pg. 55)
The square tags are from the Stylish Shapes die set  (159183/$30/Pg. 123)
Green Transparent Adhesive-backed Dots   (163432/$8/Pg. 39)

I really like fussy-cutting while listening to my audiobooks or watching my shows. It's kind of soothing and gives me something to keep my hands busy.
The flowers and the baskets are fussy-cut from the To Market Designer Series Paper.

Measurements:

Cardstock:  Card Base is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
                 Z Fold is 4 1/4 x 9 3/4, scoring at 3 1/4 and 6 1/2 on the long side

Basic White: Inside layer is 3 x 4

Designer Series Paper:  Base Layer is 4 x 5 1/4
                                 Front Panel is 3 x 4
The Pocket is 2 x 4 1/4, and punch with a Circle Punch

Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper

I love the softness of the colors here.
The Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder lends a pretty texture.

Rock Legend - Stampin' Up! Online Exclusive Kit

The Rock Legend kit is Item #163272
It has everything you need to make eight cards (four of each) and sells for $14.00

Rock and Roll - Fun Fold Gift Card Holder

These gift card holders were fun to put together.
I used the Rock and Roll DSP from Stampin' Up!  Lots of fussy-cutting and coloring of the guitars, record and cassette players.
